My first book, Past Imperfect, introduced a family of shapeshifters trying to stop an enemy intent on destroying their small pack. The second book in the series, Perfect Stranger, continues the story of the Forester Pack.

For my third release, I’m switching genres and exploring the universe of science fiction romance. The Lost Prince, the first book of a series about a miner who finds an ancient battleship abandoned deep in an asteroid field, hurling her and her team into a centuries-old mystery and an interstellar power struggle.

I currently live in central Virginia, where I do my writing and editing, and use gardening (including growing iris, daffodils, and herbs) as a way to take a break from the computer. I’m married with two grown children, and currently have two dogs. I grew up as an “Air Force brat,” with many moves throughout my childhood, including some time living in Germany and Thailand. I love traveling! Books were my constant companions growing up, from The Bobbsey Twins, The Famous Five, and the Swallows and Amazons to dragons of Pern or the rollicking world of Xanth. As an adult, I still love adventurous stories with great characters and a solid love story.

I’ve been writing my own stories since college, but it took a long time to accept the idea that I could be an author. Over the years, I’ve belonged to many writers groups, learned and grew, and even held office in a number of them, and have started participating with conferences and seminars on various topics.
